When it comes to testosterone and hair loss, many men experience this problem.
Men and women also see the thinning of their hair.
According to the National Institutes of Health, more than half of men and women are affected by a condition known as androgenic alopecia.
Hormones throughout the body have a range of functions — but they could also cause a few issues if there is too much or too little flowing through the system.
While the hormone is crucial for the growth and development of muscles, regulating the mood and libido, there are some cases in which fluctuating hormone levels create various side effects. Buy Testosterone online here.

In order to understand how testosterone and hair loss in females or males is related, it is a good idea to go over the basics of the hormone.
You need to understand how it affects the growth of hair through the follicle – the starting point of any strand.
While many of us just think of it as a single form of hormone, there are in fact different forms.
Here is a brief overview of the various forms:
Hormone levels have the potential to affect texture and thickness, but it also plays a role in how the male pattern baldness – known as MPB – takes place.
One of the most common patterns of baldness include a receding frontal hairline to shape an M formation at the front of the skull.
Balding at the crown of the skull is also common – after time, throughout the top portion of the head the hair thins to the point of baldness and creates the distinctive U shape.
While hormones do tend to cause the hair to fall out, that is not to say that the head is always the place in which it occurs.
Depending on each individual, hair in different locations on the body can react to hormone levels much differently than others – in some cases, Testosterone hair growth can even develop thicker and healthier, while baldness takes place in other spots on the body.
According to the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology, a study showed that men who had high levels of the hormone were more likely to develop the balding over the top of the head as previously described.
In the same study, it was also shown that men with higher levels of SHBG typically had thinner chest hair.Check out the best natural ways to increase testosterone levels here.
So how are testosterone and hair loss related, exactly? It usually has to do with dihydrotestosterone.
This form is created by an enzyme known as 5a reductase – in women, it can be found as DHEA.
This form is found in the follicles and skin and can create a sensitivity of the follicles.
When the sensitivity takes place, it makes it much harder for the hair to develop and grow within the follicles.
While the hormone does have an impact on hair loss or growth, it also has a lot to do with genetics – if the follicles are sensitive, even small amounts of dihydrotestosterone could prompt hair to thin or fall out.
Other factors of hair loss include stress and age – as well as medication, ailments or other medical conditions.
If you notice your curls thinning or falling out, speak to your doctor about possible solutions to slow it down.
There are a few options on the market that work to interfere with the process that testosterone and dihydrotestosterone have on the body.
Once such possibility is Finasteride, which inhibits the enzyme that transforms testosterone into dihydrotestosterone.
Always speak with your doctor before taking any supplements or prescriptions that could interfere with hormone levels.
Women who are pregnant should especially not take any medication such as finasteride, as it is dangerous to the fetus and pregnancy.
Additional options are possible that do not involve dihydrotestosterone or test, including minoxodol and ketoconazole.
Further treatments are possible to restore hairlines or remove unwanted ones, such as through follicle transplant procedures and laser treatment therapy.
Go over testosterone and hair loss options with your doctor to find a solution that suits your needs and provides you the results you are looking for, depending on the level of baldness you are experiencing.
